Dot Art Basics

Join me in a local Fair Oaks, CA studio, for a welcoming introduction to dot art. Each month (first Saturday) focuses on learning new designs and essential elements while working with different color palettes, and techniques on a 6-inch wooden rounds.
Students gradually build a personal library of elements that can be mixed and matched to create their own original designs with confidence. Perfect for beginners and enriching for intermediate artists, this class offers clear, step-by-step guidance in a calm and supportive setting.
This 2-hour dot art workshop is a hands-on, creative break from the noise of everyday life. Students will learn the basics of dot painting, including tools, paint consistency, and dot placement, while creating a finished piece during class.
Dot Art Project Class
$65.00
On the third Saturday of each month, we have a project-based dot art session, in a local Fair Oaks, CA studio, focused on applying learned skills in creative ways. Each class features a different project, surface, or object.
Taking a Basics of Dot Art class first is helpful but not required. All levels are welcome and guided step by step to complete a beautiful finished piece.
What to Expect
Expect a hands-on, joyful experience. Each class includes clear, step-by-step guidance projected on a screen, plus printed guides for Basics classes so you can move at your own pace or follow me. I’ll be walking around the room, offering personal guidance and connecting with everyone. This is a space to relax, enjoy my unique tea and chocolate collection, ask questions, receive support, imagine freely, and grow within our beautiful art community.

All levels are welcome in every class. They are very beginner-friendly, especially the first class of each month, Dot Art Basics, where we focus on building skills step by step. The second class of the month, Dot Art Project, is wonderful for both beginners and more advanced students. I also provide printed guides with every step, so you can move at your own pace and never feel rushed.

Everything you need is included: art materials, plus tastings of my favorite teas and/or chocolates. The Crafted Canvas studio also offers cocktails, soft drinks, and light alcohol for purchase. All you need to bring is a good mood and a willingness to try something new and fun.

Each class is two hours long, just the right amount of time to relax, create, and enjoy the process.

Classes are capped at 18 students to keep the experience intimate and to make sure everyone receives plenty of personal attention
